Where We Serve

Mastri Law, LLC serves the Northeastern Corner of Pennsylvania. We have extensive Courthouse experience in 16 of Pennsylvania’s 67 Counties. We have gotten great results for our clients in: Lackawanna, Luzerne, Wayne, Pike, Wyoming, Susquehanna, Monroe, Lycoming, Northumberland, Columbia, Montour, Bradford, Sullivan, Carbon, Schuylkill, and Tioga Counties.

The Pennsylvania Court system is set up with two main divisions — Magisterial District and the Court of Common Pleas.

The District Courts handle specific types of cases (in alphabetical order):

  • Civil claims where damages do not exceed $12,000
  • Criminal preliminary arraignments and preliminary hearings
  • Landlord / tenant suits
  • Municipal code violations
  • Summary criminal offenses
  • Traffic offenses

If resolution is not attained at the Magisterial Court level, the matter is seen in the Court of Common Pleas. Often a County will assign a Judge or specific Courtrooms for a certain type of matter (Personal Injury, Criminal, Family, etc.). Always check your Notice to see the location, date, and time of your hearing.

The information listed here is for quick reference only. The exact location of your hearing may be different from those listed here. Always bring your Notice with you so you may be directed to the appropriate Court Room. If you have questions call us at 570-343-1111.
